Ways To Stay Safe

Obviously small children will be with their parents every step of the way when trick or treating. But for those who are teens or almost teens make sure you:

1. Stay with a group of friends at all times.
2. Keep to areas you know real well and watch for heavy traffic areas.
3. Wear something that will make you visible or bright, especially if much of your clothing is dark.

4. Let parents or guardians know where will be and don’t leave unless letting someone know.
5. Have a cell phone and contact numbers in case of an emergency.
6. Be a leader! Don’t let anyone talk you into going somewhere or doing something you know isn’t right.

These are just a few of many helpful tips for safety, but they may keep you aware at all times or help you to think of other tips not listed here.

The Dragon Seminar

Attention all students!!

Get ready for the last animal seminar of the year!

The Dragon and it’s moves are the most mysterious of any of the Kung-Fu animals. You will learn it’s history, specialty movements, awesome whipping kicks, and of course Dragon techniques that will only be taught at this seminar.

Time is running out and spaces are almost gone so see your instructor today. Saturday, 10/14 at 1:30 p.m. in the Cazenovia studio the fee for this seminar is only $20. It includes a sheet of all moves learned, an awesome Dragon patch, a chance to win an additional patch in our drawing, and of course the seminar.

We are looking for volunteers to hand out trial lesson cards to trick or treaters in your neighborhood. Please see your instructor for details, they will be happy to supply everything you will need.

Tournament to Support the D.A.R.E. Program

	On Saturday, September 30th we showed strong support and had many of our students and families attend this tournament for the D.A.R.E. program through the Syracuse police department.
	Everywhere you looked you would see a Masters of Karate logo on the back of gi’s amongst the crowd.
	All of our students did great in their sparring and forms performances so let’s have a great round of applause for:
